Central European Director of Sales

Location:        Wintegra: Munich, Germany or Glasgow, Scotland

Reports to:     Vice President of Worldwide Sales

Main Objective of Role: Drive design wins & manage Wintegra's revenue stream for NSN and other key customers within the Central European region. 

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, salary plus commission.

Its access processors and networking software provide the essential intelligence and upgradeability for infrastructure equipment to support the emerging networks based on the convergence of voice, video, data and wireless services.  Wintegra based solutions are available for a wide range of communication platforms used by many of the leading telecom and networking equipment manufacturers worldwide

Responsibilities and deliverables:

  • The primary function of this role will be to develop and build on the existing relationships within the NSN Group and to drive design wins and sales through these channels.
  • Be an interface and team member between customers and our Technical Marketing/Applications/ Design teams.
  • Develop relationships with other Key customers within the given region and to drive sales through these channels.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Strong background knowledge and previous focus on NSN
  • 10 years experience in a commercial/ technical role within the Telecom Networking space.
  • Knowledge of network processors, FPGA in relation to telecom and network access technologies is a must.
  • Ideally, candidates with an applications or design background within the above field and whom have progressed in the last 5 years into a more commercial role within Sales /Tier 1 account management
  • BSEE required

Applications Engineer

Systems and Applications form the technical bridge between the customer and the physical product. The ideal candidate will have experience in deeply embedded software programming and debug with network processors or communications processors.  

Qualifications:  

  • Proven track record of dedication to customer debug or technical support.
  • 3+ years in engineering development or application roles.
  • B.Eng, B.Scor equivalent.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of board-level hardware and software development tools and techniques.
  • Detailed and extensive knowledge of communication protocols in the ATM and IP areas.
