Software Design Engineer
Product design positions for development of networking protocols
Job Description:
- Develop standard and next generation network protocols for new silicon platform
- Design and implement system-level software packages for multi target applications
- Work closely with customers and chip design team
- Performance analysis and simulation of network traffic models
- Participation in standards development process
Qualifications:
- Outstanding technical and teamwork skills
- BSEE/BSCS or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in embedded software system design
- Product development experience with C language and associated tools
- Commercial applicaton of modern software engineering practice
- Detailed hands-on knowledge of networking protocols

Applications Engineer
Systems and Applications form the technical bridge between the customer and the physical product. The ideal candidate will have experience in deeply embedded software programming and debug with network processors or communications processors.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of dedication to customer debug or technical support.
- 3+ years in engineering development or application roles.
- BSEE/BSCS or equivalent.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of board-level hardware and software development tools and techniques.
- Detailed and extensive knowledge of communication protocols in the ATM and IP areas.
