Wintegra Named Number 28 on Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA
Austin, Texas, USA - November 27, 2007 - Wintegra®, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company enabling the next generation of access networks, today announced that it ranked number 28 in the 2007 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 2002-2006. Wintegra grew 3,847percent during this period.
Wintegra's CEO, Kobi Ben Zvi, credits maintaining the company's focus on established access infrastructure markets like wireline and multi-service access, plus new emphasis on emerging wireless technologies like WiMAX, has resulted in strong revenue growth over the past five years. To determine the fastest growing companies, Deloitte reviewed fiscal year revenues over five years (2002-2006), calculated the revenue growth percentage over five years, and compared this growth to other technology companies.
