Wintegra Strengthens Management Team with New Chief Financial Officer

Austin, Texas, USA - January 8, 2007 - Wintegra®, Inc., a fabless semiconductor company enabling the next generation of access networks, announced today the appointment of Shai Shahar as Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to joining Wintegra, Shai worked at Ernst & Young Israel since 1997, including approximately 2 years in Ernst & Young's Israeli Desk in Palo Alto, California, where he was responsible for many privately held and NASDAQ-listed clients in the technology and communications sector. Shai is also a SOX 404 expert, and lead the implementation of SOX 404 in a global leading pharmaceutical company.

Shai holds a BA in Accounting and Economics from Tel-Aviv University, and is a CPA.
